Destination Unknown

One of the things that I love to do is to sit and think about where I'm going to travel to next. There are so many places on my bucket list. Sometimes I'll open Google Maps and just stare at the map of the world. I let my mind wander to all the far-flung corners of the world that I could visit. The world is my oyster, I say to myself, and then I remember that I have a job and bills to pay. So I probably won't make it to South America or Asia this year, but I can definitely start exploring my backyard a bit more. Although I've been living in Belgium for more than 8 years now, there are still many places I haven't ventured to yet. And Belgium being conveniently located at the heart of Europe means that many other countries are easily accessible.

So I think it's definitely time to start planning the next English Evenings trip. This time I'm thinking we should keep it simple: a day trip to somewhere within driving distance of Mons. If anyone has any good ideas, I'm all ears!
